Le béton préfabriqué a été choisi car il permettait d’offrir une finition de très haut niveau et une versatilité d’assemblage de pièces aux formes complexes. La nécessité d’avoir la même qualité de finition sur toutes les faces des segments de mur a ajouté un certain niveau de complexité.

Hunter's Point is a 239 580 square foot international model of urban ecology and an example of innovative sustainable thinking. The connection between the surrounding communities and the open space allows access to the water and the beautiful view of Manhattan.

Precast concrete was chosen for the quality of finishing and ability to accommodate the many different angles and the "assembly of pieces" effect. The necessity to have the same finish on all sides of the wall segments added a layer of complexity.
