Cette nouvelle construction comprend deux bâtiments reliés par une passerelle. Le nouveau design a été conçu pour rendre hommage au travail des maçons, un clin d'œil à Webster, une entreprise centenaire spécialisée en maçonnerie. Aux extrémités, des panneaux de béton préfabriqué recouverts de briques suggèrent des rangs inachevés, à l’image de la fin de journée des maçons. 

Un parement de panneaux d’aluminium blancs avec insertion de panneaux colorés a été utilisé pour relier les deux parties du bâtiment. Certaines couleurs ont été reproduites sur les panneaux de béton préfabriqué afin d’harmoniser les deux types de parements. Ces panneaux architecturaux - de type sandwich - sont constitués de deux parois de béton (architectural à l’extérieur et structural à l’intérieur) avec, au centre, une couche d’isolant à épaisseur variable, selon les critères d’isolation souhaités pour le bâtiment.

Enfin, l’intégration de blocs de verre suite à l’installation des pièces de béton préfabriqué démontre une fois de plus la versatilité du matériau. Illuminés en soirée, ces blocs de verre offrent une signature unique au bâtiment, tout en rappelant encore une fois le travail des maçons.

This new construction includes two buildings connected by a walkway. The new design was conceived as a tribute to the work of masons, a nod to Webster, a century-old masonry company. At the ends, brick-covered precast concrete panels suggest unfinished rows, reflecting the masons' end of the day.

A white aluminum panel cladding with colored panel inserts was used to connect the two parts of the building. Certain colors were reproduced on the precast concrete panels to harmonize the two types of cladding. These architectural panels - of sandwich type - are made of two concrete walls (architectural on the outside and structural on the inside) with, in the center, a layer of insulation of variable thickness, according to the desired insulation criteria for the building.

Finally, the integration of glass blocks following the installation of the prefabricated concrete pieces demonstrates once again the versatility of the material. Illuminated in the evening, these glass blocks offer a unique signature to the building, while once again reminding us of the masons' work.
